This stunning Toorak Gardens residence is the perfect example of design which works with an older building, preserving the character while making room for the new. Interiors designed by Atelier Bond and built by Craig Linke, this older home now has a more contemporary feel, suitable for family life. We enjoyed bringing light to this beautiful residence!
They say the kitchen is the heart of the home, and the kitchen in this home sits at the centre of attention. Over the long dining table, Arkos Shot Surface Mounted Downlights sit as a subtle feature on the ceiling, delivering task lighting where it is most needed over the food preparation area.
Over the kitchen dining, the Articolo Trilogy Horizontal pendant stands proud, providing a softened light to the space, creating ambience in the room to enjoy dinners at home. Strip lighting recessed under stone shelves highlight the patterns of the natural stone, and vertical strip in cabinets illuminate glassware for display.
The living room is where you want soft diffused light to sit back and relax in, and this living room is no exception! With minimal downlighting provided through recessed strip and paired downlights to provide light for activities, Arkos Lip Wall Lights throw light onto the ceiling, reflecting diffused light around the living room.
In the bathroom, strip lighting recessed into the ceiling provides enough light to create a comfortable experience in the bathroom, while hanging pendants over the bath create mood lighting for a relaxing vibe.
