In every garden lighting system low voltage cable is required to be run from the driver to each of the lights.

When choosing cable, care must be taken to ensure it is thick enough to carry the power to each of the lights. Otherwise there maybe too much voltage drop which will may cause the lights to be dimmer or in extreme instances they may not even work.

Selecting the right cable size is dependent on
the wattage of the LED lights on your system & the distance the cable has to be run. The chart on the right is a helpful guide for working out the cable size you need.

Luckily with LED lighting the lamps use much less watts than traditional fittings. This means the cable size you will need to run is much lower which can save you!
