This midcentury modern Wattle Park home, built by Samalex, is a feast for the eyes. With dark wood and polished concrete throughout, we were keen to bring light to this unique interior.
Visitors are guided to the front door by a welcoming glow from the Bianco Wall Light. Rustic concrete on the exterior walls is accentuated by small Titanium Downlights which also add an element of safety for a late night return home.
Bright task lighting in the home office and kitchen is provided by Unios’ Kinetic Downlights. Simple yet effective, these fittings have a tiltable head that can be rotated 350°, for the perfect amount of light in any direction.
For bathroom lighting, we have utilised the Echo Wall Light and Switch 14W Downlights above mirrors to eliminate pesky shadows.
One of our favourite reading lights - the Codex - is well placed in the master bedroom on either side of the bed. With an adjustable swivel and dimming capacity, it’s perfect for a bit of reading before drifting off to sleep.
The open living and dining area is filled with natural light during the day. As the sun goes down, our versatile Kobe Track Lights brighten up the space. Unios' Vespa Wall Lights throw light up the walls and onto the ceiling, creating a sense of grandness and providing a lovely ambient glow when the rest of the lights are off.
Beautiful architecture combined with the perfect lighting plan can bring your house to life, and this distinctive design by Samalex was so enjoyable to highlight.
