Sunkissed Higgins by RAD Studio is an ode to the Australian 1970s beach shack. With bold pink cladding and warm 70s hues throughout the interior, this project celebrates the history of the original building, while incorporating elements of the new to suit the needs of the residents. We had a lot of fun lighting up this beautiful renovation project!
On the house front, Iris Wall Lights throw light back onto the textured brick, continuing the use of circular forms from the round windows.
In the kitchen, the RBW Hoist Pendant over the island nods to the retro style influencing this design, while adding in some colour to the space. Crisp Wall Lights in Copper add a warm hue over the bench.
In the bedroom, Switch Downlights angle task lighting at the wardrobe, illuminating the areas you need to see the most. Vibia Dot wall lights mounted on either side of the bed add a playful touch, while providing targeted reading light as they can swivel to aim light where needed.
