Flinders Chase Visitor Centre is a welcoming haven for visitors to this beautiful wildlife park in Kangaroo Island. Designed by Troppo Architects, this build is designed with the environment in mind, using sustainably sourced timber that is bushfire resistant. Lighting was employed here strategically to highlight both the architecture and artwork within.
With high raked ceilings, uplighting was an important factor in this project. Vespa Wall Lights are used to throw reflected light across the ceiling, creating a beautiful glow throughout the space. With floor to ceiling windows, the whole building comes to life at night.
Suspended track lighting with Kobe Spotlights is used throughout the centre to highlight artwork and signage, as well as general lighting throughout the foyer.
Strip lighting throughout exterior hand railing guides visitors into the centre, while Athena G2 Wall Lights illuminate the outdoor decking, signposting the way.
